Reform

It's not health-care reform, it's insurance reform. It is therefore a twenty-way battle among insurers, providers, and marketers, some of whom want to screw us, versus regulators, some of whom want to screw insurers, providers, and marketers. It's all about who you can be persuaded to resent more.

Neither the regulator nor the regulated watch out for the mark. Except to fleece the mark.

It should be about health insurance reform, especially increasing competition. But the Dems want it to be about sticking it to anyone who makes a profit.

All of which they call high-minded debate on the merits.
